A Night For Kidsport

RED DEER, AB – Merrick Sutter, Senior Vice President of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today that the Rebels will wear a special jersey Saturday, February 4th when they host the Calgary Hitmen.  The jerseys will be part of a silent auction during the game with the proceeds to benefit KidSport™ in Central Alberta.  Finning Canada will be the presenting sponsor of the event.   

 

The silent auction will begin when the doors open that evening at 6:30PM.  It will conclude, at the latest, by the end of the first period intermission.  There will be a limit of one jersey per fan, and each jersey will have a ‘buy now’ price. After the game, each player will sign their jersey before presenting it to the person that made the successful bid. 

 

KidSport™ Canada is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under.
