The Rebels Prize-A-Day Giveaway is rolling right along, into it's 6th week with 5 weeks to go, time is running out for Season Ticket Holders to RENEW for the 2008-09 season at the early bird price.  RENEW or BUY NEW sooner than later to get your name entered in the draw for some great Rebels prizes and save $50 per seat!

Even if you don't win one of the 50 prizes in the draw, each season ticket account will receive a limited edition Rebels print (pictured left - click to enlarge)  The print will be made available, one per account, upon the pick up of your season ticket package in August.

Rebels Select Nugent-Hopkins 1st Overall in 08 Bantam Draft

With the first overall selection in the '08 WHL Bantam Draft the Red Deer Rebels selected Ryan Nugent-Hopkins of Burnaby Winter Club.  (pictured left with his parents Debbie & Roger in the background)

Rebels Draft 1st Overall

The Red Deer Rebels will pick first overall in the 2008 Bantam Draft today for the first time since 1992.  

Mike McBain was selected in the team's inaugural year while other first rounders over the team's history have included Current Head Coach Jesse Wallin, F-Justin Mapletoft, D-Derek Meech, former captain Colin Fraser and F-Landon Ferraro.
